Ah, that which carried Princess Margaret off to a better place. Quite a high proportion of MacAllan in that. Would you care for some more?

Gus called a yardarm at silly o’clock in the morning last night, Hedgers, and I think we need to establish that each day’s yardarm lasts until the place has been left overnight, or something, so that nobody has to go to that trouble.

Otherwise we might use up our quota, and that would be a disaster! Imagine a dry New Year’s Eve…

Avva new yardarm, me dear,
I 'ave a small sack of 'em 'ere.
And once it’s been opened you know it won’t keep…

How lovely to see you

I have had a long ‘phone conversation with my Stepdaughter & have been brought up to speed with the Senior Darlings’ activities

I think that we probably need to Share an Slammer with FantaFish, & anyone else who would like one

Sounds good to me! I have been Shopping, when the shops are nice and empty, buying “not biscuits, Ma; those healthy things, you know”. Now I’m home Slammers sounds a Good Plan.

I shall build my nest, hereabouts, as I may have found my home.
A tired bee, I am, and bed beckons.
Good night, all.

Not too often a frequenter of the cellar but reporting back after 8 days in Nice at 85-90° (F … I don’t do C) on all days. Manchester was drizzly and 55° when we landed back.

The Monaco GP was an interesting experience … can tick the box now & a Mrs. Shanks bucket-list item into the “done” file.

After a deal of red and even Rosé wine I could do with a pint of Greenall Whitley dark mild

You shall have it! Glug-pour-drip! There ya go.

Good Morning you lot.

Much.

Thought I’d better start with that as I don’t seem to have written much, yesterday.

Hi Soo - (waving towards the far distant North) - nice to see you.

Absolutely, Hedgers. It constitutes 5-a-day, for some.

On a completely different subject: OH and I looked after DD’s 6 month old Standard Poodle forra day anna night, recently. This Dog is clever, intuitive and very good company, but is prone to mad sessions and I knew that DD and her Partner were concerned that she’d be a bit of a handful. Well, not a bit of it. She (Bracken) was absolutely no problem, adapted to her new surroundings and was cool calm and collected when her owners returned to us. This has further convinced me that I am destined to have another Dog, as I am clearly some sort of expert Dog Whisperer.
