The summer fête is the scene of controversy after a discrepancy with the entry fee - which puts Alan in an unfortunate position.  
Meanwhile, Lynda vows to fight the system after devastating news, Elizabeth’s new recruit upsets Freddie, and David and Ruth are faced with a stark choice at Brookfield.  
Also this week, Carol causes problems and Keira has a bone to pick with Amber …
