Radio Times Ambridge Diary August 10-13
Lynda’s making plans to return to the Ambridge scene. Her first move? To offer her insights into the new concept for the Flower and Produce Show. But will her new-found determination to air her views prove to be short-lived? And what of husband Robert, who’s facing his own challenge as he struggles to shake off an unwanted gate-crasher?
Sibling frustrations are bubbling up at Home Farm, where Adam is fearing for the future and Alice is feeling as though she’s been thrown in at the deep end. Chris, meanwhile, is trying to cover his tracks after breaking his pact with his other half - but he’s not the only one keeping secrets …

Daily Mail Weekend Magazine Archers Update August 10-13
Ambridgers, like the rest of us, haven’t been able to mingle in society as much as they would have liked over the past months. This has, in some ways, been a bit of a relief to Chris, as a night out with Alice - who’s given to mopping up the sauce - often ended up with him having to give her a fireman’s lift home. A pact to clean up their act appears to have put Alice on an even keel but Chris, like Alice, has been keeping secrets.
While the couple hide things from each other, Lynda makes the decision to come out into the open with plans to return to village life. This includes unveiling her own ideas for the new-format - but still fiercely competitive - Flower and Produce show.
