Daily Mail Weekend Magazine Archers Update January 18-21
They take no leave and work long shifts in the ever expanding section of the Borsetshire police station given over to the nest of vipers that is Ambridge.
Borsetshire officers took only a minor interest in the village, and the extent of their investigations consisted of rifling through a well-thumbed file of index cards, most of them bearing the name Horrobin. Now, mug shots linked by a web of string fill the walls, and no Ambridger seems free from guilt.
Kirsty tries to untangle Phillip’s many machinations, but Helen-who has herself done time-fears that Kirsty is getting enmeshed in trouble.
Meanwhile, over at Brookfield, they live in fear of the strong arm of the law pounding at their once blameless door.
