Then again, nor to actors, sports people, artists, musicians etc.
… & he’s worth 5 times what Gary, voice of the people, Linaker gets.
I struggle generally, with what newsreaders get for, essentially, reading an autocue. Accepted they do some of the writing & conduct occasional interviews but the poorly paid ones appear to be getting £200,000-250,000 for it.

True.
On the occasions I’ve feel fully aware of the details of some event what has been reported is barely half-accurate. To the point of being astonishing on a couple of occasions.
