The Grey Gables kitchens are out of action, and The Bull is not, in so many ways, what it was, but there are other reasons for staying our side of The Mighty Am this week. A dark cloud of doom hovers over Lakey Hil; something awful is heading towards Ambridge,and things will never be quite the same again.
There are, of course, one or two minor matters of interest, including the pleasure of listening to Lynda apologising to the late Mr Snowy’s son about her accusations of drug-dealing, plus a chance to hear one Horrobin woman trying to give advice to another.
These are just mere side events, however, as a whole heap of trouble is about to be visited upon Ambridge.
