Things will be said this week that cannot be unsaid. The Brookfield branch of the Archers, once so flush with cash, faces a serious financial challenge. Heated views are exchanged, opinions vented, and there’s a real danger that a deep and permanent rift has opened up.
While the seething goes on at Brookfield, Oliver starts getting excited about the hunt ball; we too should get excited as the ball has, in the past, brought on all sorts of bad behaviour, some of it criminal, and there’s every reason to hope history will repeat itself.
