One Ambridge resident is struggling to deal with some uncomfortable facts, leaving Chelsea to do what she can to contain the emotional damage. The situation, even by Horrobin standards, is complex, and Chelsea might find herself out of her depth. Harrison could come to the rescue, but he’s a man on a mission, and has to grapple with his feelings and his sense of duty.
There are further problems as Lynda finally - after what seems like weeks of build-up - trots off to collect her MBE, leaving a vacuum of power at the Mystery rehearsals. Those of us hardened to Ambridge ways will not be surprised if disaster strikes in her absence.
