I recommend a good bandaging. Over their mouths would be a start.
I don’t often say that I’m in complete agreement with the Daily Mail but…
And there I was, wondering whether the comments would be should there be or be an apostrophe in ‘vets’. Which I would be happy to be enlightened about.
Well that’s easy.
“the strained atmosphere at the vet’s is becoming intolerable.” - there is one vet.
“the strained atmosphere at the vets’ is becoming intolerable.” - there are multiple vets.
“the strained atmosphere at the vets is becoming intolerable.” - I don’t have to play by your rules, I’m going to be replaced by an “AI” any day now and then you’ll miss me.
