External links take us off the site which means if you don’t click the back button this site is lost. Is there an option in set-up to designate external links “blank”?

Er, what’s wrong with expecting the user to be able to press the back button? As opposed to popping up a whole new window/tab without the user’s consent? If you want a new tab you can always right-click and “new tab”, or equivalent in your browser…
Ok. I always [target=“blank”] on links to external sites on my websites so I don’t lose my visitors. But then I need to spoonfeed them as they’re commercial sites😃
Incidentally you can’t right click on a handheld so that is a further complication.
I’ve set it up; let’s see if anyone is made unhappy.
