Greenwood

In all the fuss over Joe’s long overdue demise, a little detail seems to have been glossed over. In Thursday’s episode, Will asked whether the repairs to Greenwood were “good enough to keep BL happy when they take it back”.

Where is Will’s dog Kai, and how do he and Holly get on? Who takes either for a walk, ever?

Come to that, where is Holly? Does Ed have custody, or Emma? She was supposed to have been acquired for George, after Ed shot Will’s young dog, so if George is with Emma one would suppose that Holly is with them, but who knows?

And does Will really only have one dog? Most gamekeepers surely have several, at least two labs or spaniels plus one to several working terrier types.

I think there’s a sort of dissociated cloud of Dog that follows him about, extruding a paw or a muzzle when the plot requires it.

Does this notional canine kip in the floating bedroom?

…isn’t it strange how the simple mistaking an “r” for an “f” totally changes the meaning of that sentence, leading this poor (…long-sighted) listener to believe that the SWs have finally got something right, and promising to be a most interesting twist in the rather dismal plots to which we’ve been subjected of late!
