HELP!!! For some reason I cannot access Mustardland (paranormal) . When I try, I get a site called Cloudfare. I have tried accessing from my various bits of techy equipment, but with the same result. Could some kind person pass the message on to the administrators of Mustardland? Many thanks.

Hi Annie, I thought at first it was just me, but it is a general problem. I checked on another Archers messageboard - āThe Archers in Mustardlandā - and itās the same for everyone.
Gus of our parish here reports the same. So I think we just have to wait it out!
Youāre probable aware that the have been bots that have been slowing down Peetās Mustardland for some time. Steenbok, the tech admin, has been dealing with them by blocking them, but he spoke of using Cloudflare to deal with the problem. I donāt know what Cloudflare is, as it happens, but thatās what he said.

Hello again @anniestg, welcome @marya, pull up a bollard.
Cloudflare is a large service that you can pay to put its web servers in front of your web site and try to intercept bots, denial of service attacks, and so on.
They also happily host customers who sell bots, denial of service attacks, etc. We do not use or recommend them here at the Reporter.
(And as a user of a site rather than a site owner you canāt usefully talk to them anyway.)
In general I recommend services such as https://downdetector.co.uk/ and https://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ to see whether a problem is likely to be something local to you or a more general breakageāin which latter case thereās probably nothing you can do except wait for it to be fixed.

If the site is still inaccessible after a few days and/or others are getting in, I do have this email address saved: mustardlandhost@gmail.com
I wouldnāt use it to ask for help at this point though, I think the host probably has enough to cope with right now.

In this case, downforme isnāt really very useful: the site address is certainly responding, just redirecting to a cloudflare service, so it is āupā, just not presenting the expected content!

Itās up this morning, but you may need to type the address from scratch including the www. rather than using a bookmark - the redirection seems not to be spot on.
Yes I had to clear the browser history and I also cleared the DNS cache - before that it was still showing the cloudfare page
