Oh, gosh what a terrible episode! I would have liked it so much better if Ruth and David had asked her to move out of Rickyard. Out of Ambridge, even better. ‘Sorry, pet, we can’t afford you!’
A further thought: this makes Bert the latest victim to be paying for Pip’s folly and deceit in that he now has to house the dreadful Toby. At least I think he will. He didn’t quite say yes, did he?
