As for “[Kate] gently talks Noluthando in from the ledge”, I don’t believe it I don’t believe it I don’t believe it. If I were having a trip and I were suddenly reminded that Kate is my mother, I’d probably jump.

She didn’t talk her down gently all the time; she did start to give her orders at one point, only that didn’t work so she backed off again.
