It serves no purpose other than to help fill up JJ’s excellent spreadsheet with the well known phrases which will be offered as pathetic excuses by her for not speaking up when she’s had many opportunities to do so.

Why oh why does no one listen to anyone? Far be it from me to defend the awful Pip but she told the equally awful Ruth she had something to tell her and the silly wailing bint still wouldn’t listen!!!

Yes, frustrating, but my comfort is that Pip is suffering. And the longer she waits, the worse it will be for her when it all comes out as I trust it will.
