Poor old Blackpool

is going to be lumbered with a von Däniken theme park.

The council said the new complex “will be based upon unsolved mysteries of the past, such as the pyramids of Egypt and Mexico, ancient cave drawings, the monuments of Easter Island and alien visitors.”

Which of those is unexplained?

(Hint: four have absolute and simple explanations, and one has no evidence.)

The decision to honour von Däniken in any way whatsoever?

Being fair to him, I gather the theme park he set up in Interlaken (went bust after three years, now reopened summers only as Jungfrau Park) is quite fun. Just not really his, and not really worth a detour to visit.

Well fairgrounds always have charlatans around them so why not him?

If the good Lord had not meant them to be sheared he would not have made them sheep?

There’s a significant difference between “sheared” and “fleeced”
