Finally, some good news to report. Apologies again for the poor quality, for the same reasons, but we have a new family! Two visible (just) here, and at least another two already hatched. Penny’s sitting on a lot of eggs, though, so we’re expecting quite a few more. Will keep you posted.

We have spent the whole of yesterday and last night standing vigil over a premature hatchling. Cautiously hopeful - s/he’s active and alert, beginning to eat solids and has been flexing muscles and even preening, but it’s still too early to tell
