Radio Times Ambridge Diary August 15-19

We’re one step closer to normality this week with the return of Sunday-evening episodes - welcome news, I’m sure, for Archers devotees who have written to RT asking why our visits to Ambridge were still being rationed.
As for the drama itself, it seems that the summer fete is set to be plunged into chaos when one resident launches a protest. As unrest grows, Lynda comes up with a controversial suggestion - but is it destined to be remembered for its upsets?
At Lower Loxley, plans for Steph Casey’s wedding are being finalised, but father-of-the-bride Vince has news that will leave one of the Pargetters out in the cold. Has someone been telling porkies? If so, why?
