The strain on the Grundys increases this week. Emma looks as if she is about to crack, Ed is nervous, and Will’s advice could make everything worse. George comes up with a scheme that could provide an answer to his desperate situation and get Alice off the hook - or prove disastrous.
There are tensions over plans for the summer fete, meanwhile, and Alistair has a surprise visitor.

Is it just me or are they going to do something really silly with this (TBTB with th storyline, I mean)?

Such as? I fear that George will tell the truth, so far so good, he’s a toe rag, but … Alice will be vindicated entirely and join the Brave and Beautiful Club. Which I won’t be so happy about as she’s a nasty piece of work, even if she didn’t drive drunk … that time.

Sounds to me as if George has cracked to his family, and they are not taking it to ‘the authorities’ but applying that fabled Grundy intelligence to getting both George and alish off the hook. That’ll go well.

Yes, might be quite entertaining listening. I wonder if Neil and Susan will be in on the secret? Emma’s not going to be too keen on sacrificing her baby boy - a good lad, really, as Neil said unenthusiastically - for the hated Alice. But Neil is likely to take the moral high ground. What larks!
