Radio Times Ambridge Diary June 9-14

Well, Jim’s tribute night was a disaster and we’re feeling the fallout. Alistair is mortified that the evening went so badly and attempts to apologise. But Jim refuses to be cheered - and one innocent villager will find themselves getting gashed on the end of his sharp tongue.
Peggy’s family are disconcerted by a mysterious invitation, but Lilian is hurt to be left out in the cold. Determined to find out what’s going on, she gate-crashes the evening, but will she and her relatives be prepared for the bombshell their mother is about to drop? We also have the prospect of Open Farm Sunday, with Natasha taking charge at Bridge Farm. Plus Ruairi has a fiendish idea that quickly gets out of hand …
