Radio Times Ambridge Diary Mar 31-Apr 5

Jill hosts the Archer clan at Brookfield on Mother’s Day with a newly released Freddie as the guest of honour. But with Lily creating tension and Ben asking awkward questions, will the day go without a hitch? I somehow doubt it … As for Freddie himself - well, he’s struggling to settle back into village life, but is determined to make the most of his freedom. His actions, however, will have immediate consequences for another family member.
Meanwhile, over at Bridge Farm, sparks fly over the electric fences and Helen is feeling the pressure, while Johnny finds himself up to his neck in it when the cows start calving. Will he ultimately be able to prove his worth as a farmer?

Up to his neck in what, precisely? Or rather, in where?
I have a truly horrible mental picture.

I must have missed something, when was Freddie ever part of village life?
