Radio Times Ambridge Diary March 8-11

A year since the blast at Grey Gables. we’re promised by Archers bosses that one villager will find themselves “in an equally terrifying situation”. What? As perilous as an exploding hotel? It seems hard to believe. But the ensuing drama will result in hospitalisation, as well as plenty of guilt and recrimination.
Over at Brookfield, Kirsty unveils the next stage of Lynda’s plan to David and Ruth, while Ben and Ruairi’s concept for the future is also outlined. Elsewhere, unsure whether to go on with her ordination studies, Shula gets advice from Alistair. Plus, Jazzer and Jim continue to be a warring odd couple, but will a sudden crisis result in a reconciliation?

Hospitalisation means they’re still alive, at least when they get there. Oh dear.

They’ve been working on that recently ;- ) Though I doubt ‘nosocomial infection ’ has made it into the SWs’ lexicon.

Who is it, though? In the νοσοκομείο, that is. I’m becoming less and less convinced it will be Alice. I’m placing my bet on Neil.

That would be a bit disappointing. (We’re all meant to love Neil, aren’t we?)

I’d love Neil to get something iatrogenic.

Looks as though we are going to be terrified this Tuesday. Or at least an Ambridge resident will be in a ‘terrifying situation’. I’m sure I will be terrified too.

If I don’t laugh.

“No, Helen, you’ll have to do that for yourself.”

What is Helen going to test the generator output?

The one that can run the milking parlour and dairy and all other farm electricity requirements

Please?

Oh, I have an Folder, me dear.

“Airliner crashes onto nuclear fuel train” is a promising start, I feel.

I merely loathe Helen so the nuclear accident is waaaaay to quick a death in my opinion

With the TA scripties’ understanding of radiation biology, it’ll be fifty-foot-tall sheep rampaging across the countryside.

That’ll give Ben and his collie something to practice for “one man and his dog “
