Rex and Kirsty look to savour the fruits of their labour as the beaver release nears.
At least it had the merit of winding Ruth up. Shame Pip put her right on that so soon. And I did enjoy Leonard giving both Ruth and Pip a lecture on the way they were hovering about him and the way Ruth in particular wanted to know every detail of his life. Words that needed saying!
Odd that Pip thought Ruth had only just started to get - ‘curious’ was the word she used - nosy would be more to the point. Ruth has always been like that! But perhaps Pip is too self-absorbed to notice other people much.
She makes my skin crawl when she’s doing her sympathetic listener act but in reality prying out the details of someone’s life.
