Radio Times Ambridge Diary Oct 12-15

Philip comes up with a plan to save his and Gavin’s skin, just at the moment when it seems as though they’re going to drown in their own lies. But another Ambridge resident is set to get caught up in their web of deceit.
Kate’s attempts to help often lead to further friction, so we ought to be on our guard when she offers her support to Alice. Later in the week, we’ll also witness Alice trying to bury the hatchet with Emma - only to discover the latter may not be so keen to forgive and forget.
David is left perturbed at Brookfield when an old enemy digs for dirt, Elizabeth makes an impression, and Alistair opens up about his past.

Oh god. What totally implausible back-story have they dreamed up this time? And who, frankly, cares?

Is that one lot of lies or two? Not that it matters much either way.

Is he going to ‘open up’ about his gambling? Except that the whole village knows. I was envisaging a cozy chat with Alice about addiction when he bumps into her at the stables, Alice having suddenly decided to take up hunting.
