Radio Times Ambridge Diary October 13th-18th

Naturally much of this week deals with the fallout from the court’s decision regarding George, with the Grundys and Carters realising their problems are far from over.
Chelsea and Adam butt heads at the Tearoom, while Fallon makes a monumental decision and leaves Natasha searching desperately for a solution.
A guilty Kirsty faces a potentially controversial negotiation at Bridge Farm, and Elizabeth offers the benefit of her wisdom to a friend in need.

Failed to murder Tom after the Great Disappointment, thus putting him out of all our misery.

With any luck, she’s evicting Helen.

Helen seemed to be determined to self-evict, which was seriously weird.

I was hoping she thought she would move back to Bridge Farm with an eventual view of ousting Pat and Tony, that would cause ructions! But then it would make her arm’s length relationship with the hefty farm work she always seems to avoid more difficult. If people noticed how little she did, might she be required to milk her own cows, for instance?

I look forward to her getting Pat and Tony to put yet another mortgage on the farm so she can raise the deposit to buy the Beechwood house and if so, I do hope Natasha hears about it. There is no way in my opinion that these two selfish women could ever get on, yet so far there’s been very little tension. Just a bit of the Window, but poor old Tom got it in the neck from Hellin, I seem to recall, not Natasha.
