Radio Times Ambridge Diary October 2-7

The Grundys look forward to the arrival of the turkeys, but George’s money-making scheme may have come undone, along with Eddie’s tall tales at The Bull. Tracy is at her wits’ end worrying about daughter Chelsea, who has some serious decisions to make. Helen and Lee have a noise problem, but their lovely neighbour Joy doesn’t seem too bothered, until new plans cause a headache for all.
It’s Jill’s big birthday, with Leonard all set to take a family photo, until someone goes missing. Kirsty is caught in the middle of endless conversations about soil quality, and disputes over the findings. Is this the start of the famous Ambridge Soil Wars?

She still hasn’t decided? Please, let me ‘decide’ for her - I have plenty of knitting needles.

(Gawds, what has listening to this this silly little bitch reduced me to?)

Someone foolish enough to sully her valued tools with Horrobin blood. Don’t do it. Not when there’s an unwanted melon-baller to hand.

Erm I can offer lots of easy to sharpen twigs and assorted wood to use

The procrastinating idiot will end up having a stillborn as no Archer could have to support a Horrobin

I doubt that will be the way they take this. But then if they haven’t the cojones for that, they probably won’t want to touch more-or-less-mid-gestation termination, either.
What a dreary prospect.

They’ve already done that, Twellers.

So you’re probably right. Sigh.
