I have just bought what seemed to me to be some perfectly ordinary pork sausages from Lidl (deluxe, they call them, 95% pork, gluten free) and the receipt calls them “RSPCA sausages”.

I’ve looked all over the labelling and found no sign of RSPCA there; does anyone have an explanation for what seems rather strange to me?

Thanks, Joe! I am delighted to learn this, but I can’t help wondering why they don’t mention it anywhere except on the receipt.

I agree 100% Fishy. They should make more of it. Apart from anything else, they’re bluddy lovely sausages.
