What is Britain’s ‘national dish’? Opinions seem to divide between roast beef and Yorkshire pudding and [spit] chicken tikka masala.

Bah! It’s toad in the hole. Which I had tonight, courtesy of wor own dear Fish, and it was bloody lovely.

I would certainly put fish & chips on the list.

I am now craving toad in the hole, though. I haven’t had it for years.

I had chicken fried rice last night, which was lovely.
