Not sure that I did, Fishy. The tape was so fluffy & horrible that I am surprised that it stuck to anything
I have just managed to get meself up from the floor having deployed The Big Torch & started the glueing. I now have to leave it for 24 hours to reach maximum strength.
The angle of dangle is a bugger & I have to had to use strips of tape to hold the joints in place whilst they dry.
I have reinforced the original break with a piece of soft leather too.
It’s all abit Heath Robinson, but it should work.

Day 3 of house-painting and all is well in the hive. The decorator is v. hardworking and does stuff to a high standard. We’ll bee off for walkies, soon and leave him to it.

It is, indeed, Twellsy. We were very fortunate to have such in Northumberland and we miss them. But, we now have an electrician, a car engineer, a plumber and a decorator to call upon - all of whom are competent and kindly.
