I was just thinking someone should have a word with the person who writes headlines for the CBC site:
"Ottawa police charge suspect after woman assaulted by broken bottle in ByWard Market"
Luckily she was not seriously harmed, but from reading the story we learn that she was actually assaulted by a man who wounded her with a broken bottle. Otherwise they would have charged the bottle, surely.
I know it’s not funny really …
