This young man does sound amazing, I read that ‘In the spring of 2024, Jan Liebermann attracted significant attention in the organ world when he performed all six Trio Sonatas by Johann Sebastian Bach from memory in several public concerts.’ And that was at the age of 18 or 19.
Our dinner comprised butter bean and fennel stew with focaccia bread and it wasn’t gravy (sob) but it was tasty enough.
The best organ recital I’ve heard took place in Hallgrímskirkja in Reykjavic, many years ago. The organ is out of this world fantastic and the organist (whose name I have lost) was fantastic. We were very lucky to hear Schola Cantorum Reykjavik during our sojourn - I’ll find something to post on the jukebox.
