So, who wants to help ... to cavort in the cellar?

I can’t wait.

This young man does sound amazing, I read that ‘In the spring of 2024, Jan Liebermann attracted significant attention in the organ world when he performed all six Trio Sonatas by Johann Sebastian Bach from memory in several public concerts.’ And that was at the age of 18 or 19.

Before the memory deteriorates through late nights and loose living, then [grinnity].

Seriously though, it does sound fab. Yay! And please give the cathedral my regards.

True, but then again my latest nights and loosest living were when I was 18 or 19. Can’t do it now, sadly.

Will do.

Oh you’ve met musicians then? (Birdly nod to Joe.)

Here is a better picture of a fox in about the same place. (Bars are the railings at the raised front of the building.)

I have. Lots, during my late nights and loose living phase, and in fact I ended up married to one of them.

It was fun while it lasted.

Our dinner comprised butter bean and fennel stew with focaccia bread and it wasn’t gravy (sob) but it was tasty enough.

The best organ recital I’ve heard took place in Hallgrímskirkja in Reykjavic, many years ago. The organ is out of this world fantastic and the organist (whose name I have lost) was fantastic. We were very lucky to hear Schola Cantorum Reykjavik during our sojourn - I’ll find something to post on the jukebox.

I have been being angelic to avoid hospital with my asthma

Who knew being good was so bloomin’ boring?

I imagine that hospital is way more boring, Twellsy. Keep up the good work!

We’re off to Embra to collect GS for the day.

(@Gus, you’ll need these yardarm keys. It’ll want some blood by Saturday evening, I’m sure you can find a deserving donor.)

Positively spoilt for choice, me dear.

Just don’t put one of them on your back for the drive home, or you’ll end up with just one ukulele and a lot of splinters and stray pegs and strings.

Or, if it’s the silver-brass-bodied resonator, new frontiers in spinal injury.

Which would certainly fit the definition “self-inflicted”.
