And more!
The kitchen sink is in two parts, one a third smaller than the other. Last time I let the small-sink-full of water out all at once, it flooded the cupboard under the sink. So we stopped using it, and screamed for help to the plumber we found earlier this year (he isn’t very small but he is a good plumber) when we needed someone to mend the ice-maker in the door of the freezer.
And today he came, and he undid this and that under the sink and established two things. One, the sump-thing that has replaced the u-bend under modern sinks was full of gunge, which he cleaned out in no time, and two, dear Paul had quite forgotten to close off the spare outflow pipe from the section between the two sinks’ drainage, such that water could flow out of it without let or hindrance if it wasn’t flowing fast enough down the actual drain.
So he put in a plastic plug. And yes, we might perhaps have been able to do it if we’d known what to look for, but we didn’t.
And I have the use of both sinks again, and advice to put bicarb and white vinegar down it once a month to keep it flowing freely.
Hurrah! Also, fizzity.
I am back on antibionics and stair rods for a hatching chesticle infection
I am not amused by this
Please send gin
[flappity][flappity][flappity][flappity][flappity][flappity]
just sign for this bowser, I’ve got three more to bring in…
NALL, again.
Take the tablets and behave yourself, Twellers, and you should avoid the Plague Pit. I mean, staying where the gin’s been delivered strikes me as a sound plan.
Gxx
A soggy sparrer needs its strength to look after ye lot once the gin arrives and it is well fed and watered and dried out and warmed up and rested so I am being good and munching my nice horse sized meds
Yerra sensible spadger, for certain sure.
Yer bee has been entertaining Family, today. A Thoroughly Good Time has been had.

No Poodle today, but she’s never far from our thoughts and deeds, Twellsy!

We currently have lumière without the son, but it seems to be getting closer…
ETA: spoke too soon. No more exciting flickerin’ behind the clouds atm. But something is on its way, definitely.
The last Big Storm we had here was so full of lumière that I thought the house might be on fire, Gus. The son was much less dramatic, when it came.

There is a dog here who is very frightened by thunder, so minimum son would be ideal.
Beely hugs for the dog. And kind wishes for a peaceful night.
