Very thick pork chops for tonight (to eat with purée potato, baked tomatoes with garlic and butter stuffing, baked mushrooms ditto, and gravy) and ten 270g aprox frozen pies, which they make on the farm and which are very delicious: two chicken & leek, two lamb & mint, two steak & mushroom, two steak & kidney, and two steak & ale. They didn’t have any of the game ones, alas.
Oh, and some admirable Red Leicester cheese, and some Barkham Blue, and some Waterloo (which is a bit like brie). The later two are locally made using milk from the Lacey herd.
