Elsewhere, I saw a picture of parachuteless people plummeting from a plane with the caption “showing Melania as the in-flight movie”.
Oof
I came back from my CT Scan, made myself some lunch & then swept on the sofa for 5 hours!

Patrick, on the beach in 2017. Her favourite photo of him.

I understand that both the Wake last night, & Funeral today were very well attended.

“There has been a delay in your delivery.”
That made me laugh a lot, but then I thought someone was standing there filming it and the poor bloody driver might well get trouble for getting behind schedule.
Totally bonkers cat, though, yay ![]()
Lovely Patrick photies, Darling.
RIP Posh. Boiled eggs can rest easier in their shells.

Morning all
The cat was having fun
Cats’ fun is protected by international treaty nullifying company policy regarding delayed deliveries
Yeah but, all those cardboard boxes, the cat has found heaven.
Didn’t occur to me. Of course.
Vague suggestions of blue. Orf to an brewery. The traditional has been arranged.
Typography matters!

I have just done my week’s washing.
Everything goes into the wash right way out, and with the flies of the jeans done up so the open zip can’t catch and break.
Of the seven pairs of underpants, five had turned inside-out in the wash; and one leg of the jeans also came out of the drum wrong way out.
The long-sleeved sweat-shirts have not yet started to invert themselves, but I keep expecting it to have happened.
I find that it doesn’t matter which way out the duvet cover is when it goes in the washing machine, it has always inverted when it comes out - this is handy though, because I find it much easier to remove the cover by turning it inside out as I pull it off. What puzzles me is socks that invert, I would’ve thought that was difficult but they manage it somehow.
I always fasten the bottom of the duvet cover before I put it in the wash, otherwise it eats pillowcases, hand-towels, flannels… And if you don’t notice something it’s managed to swallow and hang it up that way, it takes forever to dry.
I turn duvet covers inside out when I take them off, but I also store them like that because of the quick way to put them on, which involves having them inside-out to start with, putting your hands into the two corners opposite the opening and grasping the duvet by equivalent corners, then pulling the cover over the duvet like a jumper over the head of a recalcitrant five-year-old (duvets don’t struggle quite as much, and almost never kick you…) so that it ends up right way out on the duvet. This reduces a chore which used to take two minutes or more to about half a minute. And it is the only useful thing I took away from one of those awful television shows in which families performed household tasks in competition with each other for prizes: one family made a bed so much more quickly than another that the host was flabbergasted and demanded more demonstration, and got it. I hasten to add this TV thing was not in my own house or of my own choosing: we never had a telly. A friend of mine had a sick passion for such shows and if you were visiting her you watched them without the option.
It’s what they play at an expensive doss-house and caff.
That is most interesting, o Fish, but I can promise you the effect this lot were shooting for is ‘live’.

I don’t feel equal to reimagined traditional cuisine unless many, many dumplings are involved.
