Well done Bedford Borough Council, that’s what I say.
Reminds me of people complaining to the local paper about how antisocial of the local council it was to swing the bridge across the harbour during the rush-hour and delay all that traffic. The correspondence rumbled on for quite a while, and I eventually wrote pointing out that the bridge could only be swung at a particular height of the tide – and how anti-social it had been of God to arrange it so that the tide paid no attention to the rush-hour. I think the editor of the paper was quite relieved to put “This correspondence is now closed” under my letter.

I am sitting in SDEC having had bloods taken & cannula inserted.
They 'phoned me at 10:00, so it was an bitovvan scramble, but the taxi was on time so I managed it.
Am temporarily knackerated, but will be fine when I get my 2nd wind.
