Our new GPs are very good and the husband and wife combo have a myriad of complementary skills and qualifications so that they are able to deal with minor trauma like a cut needing stitches through to playing with the defibrillator

With prevention of illness through vaccines and being able to perform home visits and enough patients to keep them busy but small enough to know all of us
Different to the NHS but because we have a scattered population most of whom want to mind your business for you in case you need a bit of care
Yesterday there was a bleedin’ gurt bumblebee in the crocuses. Each one went down flat when the bee landed in it an then twoinged up again when it left.
Tizz our wedding anniversary and we’ve celebrated by going to Dobbies and not finding anything we wanted. I’ve made salmon fishcakes to fry for dinner and am deciding upon how best to make broccoli seem special.
By some miracle of coordination, the pharmacy got the prescription request today and sent me a text to tell me that I could collect my medication. Everything I had ordered was indeed there, not so miraculous because the pharmacy is organised (unlike the doctors and their computer).
Unfortunately I had forgotten to put one of the medications that I need onto the list.
Gah!
Still, that one is now “an emergency” (even though I do in fact have two weeks’ worth left) and can be ordered at any time… It’s just a bore, not a disaster.
Here has been a bit of a boring day with just pottering about and prepping buttermilk batter for chicken and using some of the batter for a sweetcorn fritter to serve with a nice slaw and chopped salad
