I doubt I shall. My very proper English teacher at my very proper grammar school drilled that full stop far too deeply into me for the habit to drop now. Good to know she was wrong though!
I make no claim to rightiness, simply wot I was taught!
Same true in French, I believe. M. Mme and Mlle.
Makes sense, really.

We are fine but a bit fed up with the weather. Today’s delight is ‘freezing drizzle’! Still, spring is officially here, though not yet in fact, as one can see from the couple of feet of snow still in our north-facing back garden.
Oh don’t spoil it! I want to believe she was wrong, she was horrid.
But “Mademoiselle” does have an e at the end, same as Mlle.
I think that full stop is for the end of the sentence.
Ssshhhhh. I am trying to sow a little chaos, here.
Look over there, it’s Elvis!
Found this on the doorstep this morning.
It is, according to google, a great diving beetle. A new one on me but it is definitely a great big beetle.
But, not Elvis.

No, not Elvis, John. King of The Beetles.
Morning!
The Conservatory chaps were with us at 07.20 - it was supposed to be 09.00. Thankfully, Mr Bee managed to put a good face on it - I take a bit longer, especially in my present battered state.

Aargh!
Keep telling yourself that the sooner they start, the sooner they’ll finish.
Not that much help, I know.
If they (whether the blokes or the central office) are that careless about keeping appointments, how can you trust them to do a good job?

I’ll not be fighting you for it, Twellsy. As I’m presently a little bit dependent upon Mr Bee, I’ll not be slicing his head off. But - on ye go!

I know none us. would normally think of such a garment but then there are Moments when the notion is almost overwhelming…
