Better than DVDs for cats, in that they might at least get some benefit from them.
I saw adverts for soup for the spotty horrers so I presume they are trying to get the slaves to try giving them soup by giving freebies with proper fud
Sounds like a good way of selling you expensive water, doesn’t it?
It’s a funny thing, but cats and dogs seemed to get along just fine on table scraps until a few decades ago, and they didn’t seem to be any less healthy or have shorter lives.
The only thing I am fairly sure was actively bad for them was early kibble, which caused kidney failure in quite a lot of dogs.
My dear wee Paddypaws thoroughly enjoyed some youtube videos for cats. Truly. Pidge didn’t give a stuff, mind you.
Uurrkkk
Am sitting in me awning talking to you rather than unpacking me Big Case
Have temporarily hit the buffers & shan’t be doing much more of consequence tonight
Drinking Puntigamer helps, of course
Carinthia.xx
I think you are probably entitled to feel that everything today has been Enough, Dahlink.
And hurrah! both for Puntigamer and your safe arrival back at eponymus base.
G xxx
Yes indeed, I will second that (after sneezing politely into a paper hankie).
Oh, pore Fishy. Snot fair, inna manner of speaking.
I shall go to bed soon, when I have finished the Fiendish Ginger Drink which Hedgers has kindly made for me. It’s a bit hot just now.
You might need an Extra Pillock, Fishy
Carinthia.xx
Pore Fishers. Colds can be unuterrably miserable. I hope that you sleep well.
I’m very glad to note your safe arrival, Carinthia. Take care of yourself and enjoy the company of more Good Friends.
Sis had a bit ovvan episode in Embra, today. She thinks that she fainted, several times, and was (eventually) taken by ambulance to A&E. She has been very thoroughly investigated and the Neurologist says that she has suffered a period of Temporary Global Amnesia. It has frightened her - Dad died as the result of a stroke, aged 46 - and both she and I have inherited the hypertension. BiL is taking care of her.

That wasn’t exactly a ‘like’, Soo

Carinthia.xx
Itizzan bit ovvan worry. Gin’s the Way To Go, prolly. I have been assured that, should anything else untoward happen, I’ll be informed.

A friend of mine had an incident of transient global amnesia, and while they kept an eye on him for a bit they didn’t seem too worried – and it’s now ten years later and it hasn’t happened again.
Yes, Hedgers, that’s my hazy understanding.
Soo xx
Someone I knew had the same experience as Hedger’s friend (and I am fairly sure it was a different person). Let’s hope that your sister too has no further problem, and that her memory of everything except what happened while the TGA was going on is in no way impaired.
Ooo Soo
That is a worrying episode for your sister
Here’s hoping it was a one off
Fishy
Do look after yourself
Some of us like having a fishy mate
Without snot and gerrrummms
Thanks, all.
I’ll be off to bed, 'phone by my couch.
Good nights (or as near as possible) Cellarites,
Soo xx
A worry indeed, dere Soo, but I hope you have found some of the anecdotal evidence reassuring. I had a temp (but not very, she was with us for about six months - lovely young woman) PA whose mother had a similar experience and diagnosis.
Temp came back for Christmas drinks with my little team the following year and mother was grig as a cricket and mentally wholly unimpaired, and having her blood pressure closely supervised.
Hope you (and the rest of the family) get a decent sleep and that all is serene in the morning.
Love
Gus xxx
PS: sorry, Soo: I briefly forgot that you are a Trained Nurse and Know These Things. Huggage, me dear.
