So, who wants to help ... to cower in the cellar?

It’s the ones who are very, very bad at being bad who are really annoying.

Gus dear

I have a cool melt glue gun

I find the inevitable burns from hot glue are painful and the ripped off skin stuck to my work spoil it somewhat

Wimp.

After they’ve had the hot wax, they know what to expect anyway. And I wear noise-cancelling headphones in accordance with H&S requirements, so it is fine.

I do have a hot glue gun but I am wimpish enough to like skin on my fingertips

An entirely understandable preference, Dere, but I wasn’t really thinking about fingertips. See above (or, in fact, Below)

Umm

I have had a sheltered life and cannot imagine how or why you would want squeakwins on your nether regions

My pink heffalump squeakwinned bikinki has plenty of squeakwins so I have no need to decorate my nethers

Why do you have the need to decorate your nethers dear Gus?

ESPECIALLY now we have your assurances of where they are not.

Lots taken

PS: how is the Surprising One faring? If you have it as warm as we do, being in a cast must be pretty hellish, poor woman, quite apart from how what is in the cast is doing. Very best wishes to her - to you both.

Bit less blasted Hot today. And I am more or less back in voice, though still coughing a bit.

Christ on a bike!
Just a general observation, you understand.

Have drunk a whole bi bottle of Fevertree tonic this afternoon wivvout putting any Gin innit. I now feel this was misguided, to say the least.

I have been equally misguided. I had a cold glass of alcohol-free beer straight from the frig.

(Actually, I rather like this one. It’s hopeless if you pretend it is beer, but as a non-sweet, refreshing cold drink I find it very pleasant.)

Baltika, from Aldi, isn’t bad at all.

It has been an odd sort of day here, & I think that Slammers may be needed

I can’t seem to manage to install the latest version of FireFox either

Sigh

Thank you for asking. Yes, the few days hot weather made it very hard work. But she’s doing surprisingly well. However, it’s only few days into several weeks and the constant pulling effect of a weighty cast is getting to irritate.

Not to mention that, whilst I’m a decent cook & happy to do so, every night is becoming a grind (whinge, moan).

Gus, yer sorted for tonic for the next few years anyway.

“Normal” alkyfrolic Baltika ain’t bad either. Generic German-type lager, sure, but decently done.

Best ongoing wishes to Mrs Shanks.
