So, who wants to help ... to cower in the cellar?

I can send you the pattern, but I am afraid it is in Norwegian…

I am nearly finished my alpaca cardi/jacket - so light and soft and warm

Only thing is

4ply!

I will never use that for a grown up pattern again

I made that vow many, many years ago, Twellies, and I have kept to it.
Black 4-ply was what broke the camel’s back on that.

Shame. Were the hump-covers too tight, causing the poor beast to walk funny?

Yes, Norwegian could present a little difficulty.

Black 4-ply sounds a nightmare - a very lengthy nightmare. I’m definitely thinking more chunky, for my first sweater in decades.

First home-knitted one I mean, I have owned sweaters!

Another yarn I will never use again is random dyed stuff as I just cannot see the stitches clearly in that

Sooo we need a Norwegian knitter who speaks fluent English to decipher Fishy’s pattern

Read: feckin’ freezing

Am going to have to abandon the office, as the heating doesn’t work there. The thermostat’s buggered so it’s either full on, which causes the legs to flare up, or off, which means low single figures at the moment.

At least I have a loaf on in the kitchen ready for tomorrow morning, so it will be warm in there

Morning all

I am off to my sewing/fabric class so when I woke early it was a case of get up rather than oversleep

Poor chatelaine with such poor broken sleep

Sundays seem to be getting like that, Twellsy .I don’t mind if I get some sleep the rest of the week.

What are you terrorising them with this week?

|Apparently we are making organza flowers

B and I are going to see what that entails and if the course is growing up a bit

When even I can do a straight hanging hem thanks to you we feel that felt dollies and whip stitch are a touch err childish
