The DVLA is a teeming nest of incompetents, imbeciles and agents of Satan. Nuking it from orbit would be the kindest thing. The collateral rapid redesign of Swansea could be seen as a bonus.

It was my fault that I didnāt pay the tax, & I have paid the reduced fine. I found life much easier when I went to an Post Office & purchased a tax disc!
There are , apparently, lots of people who do this all the time, but deliberately, & āprofessionallyā, I wish that the spotty yoof in Swansea would address that problemā¦

I was just in time for a collection with my parcel to the States, but more by luck than judgement. IE I had no idea when the collections were, but happened to arrive as the van did.

Have spent 28 minutes on the 'phone waiting in a queue to resolve confusing/conflicting letters with regard to blood tests.
I now have blood tests booked, & my 'flu jab too, although we had to start from scratch with that one. I could have had it during the 1st week of October, but then it was realised that I am under 65, so it will be on the 16th.

Will you freeze the rest? I would enjoy it but would need summat to balance it. I prolly have 2-3 veggie days per week, depending on how Iām feeling/what I have that looks interesting.
Today I will be having the cheese/garlic/flatbread wiv extry Mozzarella. Earlier, I had a bowl of vegetable soup made from stuff I had previously frozen.
I have to go for the blood tests tomorrow, so that will be an Adventure with an taxi ride, collecting prescriptions, & possibly a visit to the Butcher too.
Porky Pie may be purchasedā¦
ETA that, on reflection, I think that I should call them meat-free days, as I eat most things.

I have found that if I donāt cook a dish fully pre freezing it keeps texture better
