I was walked by my rehab assistant earlier
I managed 1200 metres with just a frock on me and arrived home in a sweaty dripping heap

Twellsy, 1200m is very creditable. I can walk steadily, for quite reasonable distances, but have to be sure that I can get back under my own steam too.
The tealights have been deployed for safe journeys & good weekends.

I am debating if alpaca cardi with Aran jacket would be de trope
What the hell I will take both and a heavy rally jacket to ensure I am warm tomorrow while working in a community centre tomorrow
And I will wear my comfy warm boots too
