Aw, thanks both. I could be worse, tbh, HWBs and paracetamol both help. Two biggest problems at the moment are

  1. Trying to decide how much feeling-rubbishness is down to the thing itself and how much is down to 2g of antibiotics per day, and

  2. Trying to decide between aggravating the symptoms and suffering caffeine deprivation. So far the caffeine is winning!

The thing itself can be ruddy awful. I invariably take Nitrofurantoin when so afflicted and, invariably, I end up feeling very sick indeed. You have my heartfelt sympathy.

As I am not so afflicted, I’ll go walkies.

Muggins here fell over in kitchen a couple of hours ago (low blood pressure, dizzy, and my knees went as I straightened up from the sink) and gave the back of my head a clonk. Probably mild concussion; it bled a lot because scalp wounds do, it hurts a fair bit, and I am waiting for the ambulance to arrive – I rang them two hours ago, but since they have classified me as urgent but not an emergency, they warned me there would be a two hour wait and possibly more if there were a lot of emergencies.

Sigh.

All very tedious. I really do have to ingrain into my brain the notion that if I feel dizzy I need to sit down rather than falling down.
