So, who wants to help ... to flummox the cellar?

Or, Hovis, I imagine  Given the right kind of garlic.

It’ll be breadsticks or nachos next, and then all hell will probably break loose…

Gin, Darling. :cocktail:

Today, I have changed an light bulb in the bathroom wot has been dead for just over 3 months. I couldn’t get the Bluddy fitting open, so left it.

There are 2 other lights in the bathroom, so it wasn’t pressing.

That deserves an Celebratory Slammer, Darling.
< suspicious glarity > Didn’t involve Ladders, I hope…

Trouble with lights is, they show the dust. ime and chez moi, anyway.

Gawd, you should have seen what came off the stairwell light-fitting when I finally replaced that bulb. Groogh!

If they’re powerful enough they help to remove it.

(You have fireproof wallpaper, carpets, furniture, pets, etc., right?)

Wotchit, Sparrer. Do not set the cat on fire. In fact, risking the wrath of Fishy, here is an old friend

It did involve steps, but the safety sort wot takes my size 7 feets.
I put an folded bath towel in the sink in case the glass cover didn’t bounce…

Getting the glass cover orff was an sod. When I tried it 3 months ago, it wouldn’t budge, & I am not very good at the arms above the head stuff anyway, so I sprayed the rim a couple of times with a special sort of WD40, not the normal blue can de-greaser, & left it. The flush-fitting glass shades on bathroom lights are really tight, so that steam doesn’t Bugga the Lectrics.

Today it turned enuff for me to line the lugs up with the gaps, & get it orff.

An small victory, but useful, at least…

I have poured an glass of wine to celebrate

I am having a small lie-down. There is an Oaf on my abdomen, rumbling gently and breathing sardine at me.

 to the sardine breath, but happy that you are resting & that the Oaf appears to have forgiven your long absence…
