The Bull tells me that we have a range oven again
And I am sitting here miles from it
At least my doctors are doing all that they can to sort me out properly
Even checking for the iron levels in my blood and my B12 and numerous other things
And I have cheese and fruit cake to stave off the middle of the night munchies
I am spoiled with the care here
Though apparently the phlebotomists draw lots about drilling for blud
Have beer for me folks
And keep me broom serviced so I can use it next weekend

Carrot & coriander soup here, & there will be some sort of beef stir-fry here this evening, as I have been marinading me Tesco Bargain* fer 2 days.
*Tesco Meal Deal = Main Course, Side Dish, Dessert & Drink fer £10.
This is nominally fer 2 people, & I can usually choose/jiggle it about fer 2-3 days - not the wine, obvs… 
Anyhoo, all the food components were reduced but not exactly a bargain, so I deployed my Hard Stare With Puzzled Look & got 2 peppered steaks, chips annan bottle of Sauvignon Blanc forran Fiver…
The steak has been cut against the grain & lovingly oiled/marinaded & will be cooked later.

Am going out after ‘Strictly’, as I had an 'phonecall & then wot appears to be Sandal Failure Part 2

I will have a look at them tomorrow, with the magnifying Spex on, & see if anything can be done before consulting the Cobbler.
They are over 20 years old, & I bought them at Josef Seibel in Hauenstein, Germany.
I know that they don’t owe me anything, & I have looked after them, but it means that I may have to go to closed shoes rather sooner than I had hoped.
ETA I have managed to get the shorter prosthetic inserts into lightweight ankle-boots, so will try those.
I can’t contemplate fur-lined boots yet…
