Pork loin is the meat of choice
The Bull made and cooked pretty darn good snitchzels under my instructions
They were crispy on the outside and cooked perfectly in the middle with moist tender pork

I greatly appreciate the profferings, Carinthia.
Today, we offered up the Fiesta for repair of her exhaust flexi (sp?) . The garage gave us a ācourtesy carā for the duration. It smelt, sadly, yet blissfully, of cigarette smoke. Anytime youād like to waft a sneaky reminder, thatād be good.

Itās cool, cloudy but still, here. We plan a very quiet day. Monday will bring us the scaffolding for the roof replacement (also the portaloo and skip, apparently) and our peace will be shattered for two weeks.

Here, we have no weather. No sun, no rain, no mist, no wind, no anything. Dull, dull, dull. Weather is just like life really, mostly dull with occasional storms.

Oh they definitely count! Iāll be certain when the primroses that grow through our lawn every year pop up though, that is when itās really spring for me.
Btw it was the fruit cake I was passing on above, not the hug. Hugs are always welcome.

For me Spring starts when the daffodils appear in the local market town
Usually in late January
I am debating what to teach the Bull to cook for dinner - rib eye steak with shrooms onion and chips for him a baked spud for me is looking good
