I adore that Poodle

I could swap a Bengal or two if that is any help

Or is she happy where she is?

Sigh

The smoked pork loin was gorgeous another dinner ding in the freezer as well

Well, Poodle will have to contend with a Human Baby, come July, so the swappages could become problematical.

ETA good nights, all.

The Poodle will be enchanted with a new member of her pack

All dogs are programmed to look out for the pups in their pack

Without wanting to bother wor Bee, I wouldn’t be so sure of that. It puts a hound’s nose out of joint a bit, even if they do growl at outside people encroaching on the sprog.

Never got over Gelert, me. ;- (

Looks bloody lovely, Bee, and not at all indigestible. Fortifying thoughts to yer innards anyway.
Sleep tight.

Certainly Anzac of blessed memory was quite unimpressed with these small blobby things who were usurping her position as Top Dog.

Well any woofers I have known where wains were introduced were fine with them after a gentle introduction

I imagine that the Poodle’s humans will gently introduce the ex Bump to the Poodle and make a fuss of the Poodle so the Poodle will understand her pack has grown and the ex Bump is to be looked after by the Poodle in her own Poodle-ey way

Oh yes, that’s the way it goes eventually. But when Anzac visited us she got back her position as Senior Hound and I think it was good for her.

She would have protected them with her life; she just avoided being in the same room with them unless it was absolutely necessary.

TFD spent an hour on the phone to HMRC this morning - less than 5 minutes talking to them, the rest waiting for someone to answer - about OMCB becoming a UK taxpayer again.

When he explained he was calling about OMCB the young woman he spoke to asked if he was ‘a capacitor’. Er no he’s not, and I can’t see that he ever will be, a capacitor.

But might he become a Leyden Jar?

I am now planning to drive about three hundred miles next Wednesday on the final leg of the possessions-transfer up North, and I shall achieve it. I shall. Better late than never. And the garage will then be full only of our own gubbins, not someone else’s as well.

Just been to ALDI for rapeseed oil and the Bull bought me a G&tea cocktail set

A shimmery iridescent glass teapot with cups to match

He even bought me a bottle of Boyle’s gin to go with it

So he shall have wood fired pizza tonight

Struggling to work out what word she thought she meant.

Possibly one who capacitates? A carer, in more usual speech.

That would be this then?

Ah, it’s bolloxspeak.
Is a capacitor closer to a faciltator (good) or an enabler (v bad)?
I can’t talk, I’ve had ‘faster than vampires’ running through my mind and have only just worked out whence it came.

If it didn’t come from “Vaster than empires, and more slow” I am a little sad.
