We are en route to the haematology hospital in the black pool

I am going to show off my haematoma to them and see what haematologists think of it and its wee brother from where a canula was inserted in the plague pit

In the attempt to make a decision about whether I ought to be kept on warfarin or moved onto a different, newer-fangled form of rat-poison, the doctor tried last week to take some blood from my elbow. This debacle took best part of an hour.

So today I had an appointment for the practice nurse to take some blood for the tests they want to do
 ten minutes in and out.

I made a beurre blanc for the first time, this evening. It was okay, but the white wine was possibly on the sweet side. Anyhoo, it went well enough with seabass, asparagus and Jersey Royals.
