Off to Dumfries and Galloway, tomorrow.The cottage we’ve booked looks good and it’s situated in an area where there is a lot to do and see. The weather is forecast to be a bit rubbish but we’re used to that.

Caroline is wonderful and they make a good team. It’s just me panicking: too many people will be there whom I could really live without ever seeing again. Regrettable, but there it is. And the wedding will only be measured in hours whereas I hope the marriage will be in decades
