The existing ā€˜traditionalā€™ pasta shapes/textures are, supposedly, that the right amount of sauce will cling to it. Not that the Italians drown their pasta in sauce anyway, but I wonder what sort of hefty sauces would be suitable for those shapes?

I like conchiglie for lumpy sauces, as they hold the dollops of delight perfectly.

Didnā€™t do walkies today (Mr Bee shopped - the hero) and I spent my time on the 'phone.

Dinner will be smoked salmon scramblies with baked tomatoes, steamed tenderstem broccoli and chips for him wot does.

But not tonight. Cat is short on chicken, so itā€™s chicken thigh, baked sweet potato and coleslaw. (Itā€™s fine; his is baked seperately, without injurious seasonings)
